There's no place like home for Physical Therapy

Today was the first day of phase one of physical therapy. Phase one of physical therapy is home-based therapy. I will have 2 sessions a week for 2 weeks at home. Then I transition to physical therapy at a facility. I will probably be transitioning into Medicare about the time I move into phase 2. I'm kind of nervous about that because I haven't received my Medicare id card and I'm afraid I will get caught in a dead month or two where I have no insurance, BCBS IL, and thus will have to suspend physical therapy until Medicare kicks in.

Anesthesia is starting to wear off today, so I'm feeling the pain. I was talking to the physical

therapist, and it literally felt like I had become the unwitting sparring partner of the world champion MMA champion.
