Surviving Coronavirus

Writer's picture: Fibro DivaFibro Diva

Back in January I asked if 2020 was over yet. I thought things couldn't get any worse.

These are difficult and scary times on a global scale. For those of us with chronic illnesses and over a certain age, we can feel even more cut off from society. During these times, focusing on self-care is especially important. I don't like the term "Social Distancing" because it leaves the impression that we must thrust ourselves into complete and disparate isolation.

So while we practice physical distancing, please remember that we can still connect to others via technology. Many of us with Fibromyalgia were already practicing "Social Distancing" we just didn't have a name for it. So please continuing to utilize your favorite coping and pacing strategies.

Stay safe out there
