Everyone thinks I look like I've lost a lot of weight. My weight is the same, but my face is slimmer, probably from the strain of pain. The last few days have been very tasty. My goddaughter sent me a fruit bouquet. My daughter bought me Garrett's caramel pecan popcorn. My granddaughter made me a chocolate cake. A friend of mine sent me Lasagna and Focaccia from Ferrara Bakery in New York. An old friend from high school has ordered a very much anticipated New Orleans Mardi Gras King cake. A Fibro Friend of mine sent me flowers, no they were not edible, but they were beautiful.

Of course, I can't simply pig out because of my gastroparesis so I'll be nice and share. Surprisingly my Fibro pain is at baseline while the pain from the hip replacement is decreasing. At the moment the most distressing symptoms are the numbness and stiffness. My surgical leg feels like a block of concrete dangling from my hip.
