Jou 5: Day 5

Day 5 of Louisiana Kouri-Vini distraction. September is Chronic Pain awareness month. There are many conditions that produce chronic pain, and an individual could have Fibromyalgia and any combination of other conditions. For example, I have Fibromyalgia, deteriorated vertebrae in cervical and lumbar spine, arthritis and gastroparesis. All of these conditions produce some sort of ongoing intractable pain.

Today's Kouri-Vini statement is about my status as a grandmother. My pain started long before any of my grandchildren were born. My family is a hybrid of birth/blood relatives and play/God/chosen relatives.

I have 3 blood grandchildren and 25 God-grandchildren.
