I've been dealing with a lot lately and slipping into one of the worst Fibro flares I've experienced since first being diagnosed back in 1992. As a first born and a police officer, I've always been the fixer of my family. It is with great despair that I admit several family members are suffering and I can not help them. It is with great despair that I admit Fibromyalgia is getting the upper hand on me.

I've got to learn that it is not my job to save other people from themselves anymore, I've been on disability pension for approximately 23 years. I've got to learn that it is ok to say "I can't help you". I've got to learn that I cannot help anyone else if I do not help myself. I've got to learn that the world's problems are not only mine to carry and bear.

I usually connect this blog to my Facebook page or my website both have the same name, The Fibro Diva Report. This blog has suffered, therefore, I am just going to concentrate on this blog from now on.
