How's My Kouri-Vini?

Mo Tris. Mo venn mô lamézon iyær. Fé myé san lamézon. Mo sòr a Chicago, Mé mo rès a Metairie avèk mô fiy and sô jènn famiy.

I am sad. I sold my home (condo) yesterday. I am from Chicago. I currently live in Metairie with my daughter's family. My condo was the perfect Fibro Friendly home for over a decade. I had a penthouse unit (the photo above is not of my particular unit) in an elevator building. The garbage shoot was just a few feet down the hall and the maintenance staff lived

on property. I renovated my unit 5 years ago (see picture to the right) and it was one of the most beautiful units.

However, over the past few years things started to go awry. People stopped paying their assessment fees and the HOA stopped maintaining the seven (7) buildings on the property. HOA fees tripled since I purchased. Living out of state with no one living in the unit almost put it at risk of squatters taking over. My son would stop by and check on things once or twice a week but the stress was affecting my Fibro.

So goodbye condo, I'll miss you.
