Today was my brother’s wake. My hip pain has been increasing so badly that I obtained an emergency appointment with my pain doctor at 8 am. He gave me a pain injection. By the time of the wake at 4 pm, my leg had started swelling and the pain in my hip was so bad that I couldn’t walk and had to use a wheelchair. By 8 pm my daughter and cousin were rushing me to the ER with a pain level of 10+ and blood pressure of 225/116.

Of course, the ER personnel who of no help once they heard that I have Fibromyalgia. The doctor literally said, “well if you get your Fibromyalgia under control, your blood pressure will get under control, AND, if you get that blood pressure under control, your Fibromyalgia will become controllable.”

Really, you think so?!
