Distraction helps, kinda, sorta

Well, I've been working on my dresser transformation. So far this hobby has kept me out of the depression associated with people growing apart, and, moving from a city I really loved. As far as easing my pain, not so much. The weather has been horrid, we've actually been snowed in because I don't have a driveway, my garage opens to the alley. I'm remembering why I moved to New Orleans and didn't want to come back to Chicago.

Any who, back to the dresser. I've completed 2 quick sanding sessions and 2 coats of chalk paint down on the dresser restoration. I'm taking a break because I've developed a bone spur on my left heel and it's excruciating. But, next step for this dresser is sanding and antiquing wax, and trying to clean the hardware. I'm thinking about applying a layer of liquid wood to the top.
