Distraction, distraction

Writer: Fibro DivaFibro Diva

Out of everything I've learned over the years as a Fibromyalgia advocate over the last 30 years, I've practiced distraction as a way not to think about my pain the most. So, preparing for the possible increase in pain from major hip replacement surgery, I've begun attempting to teach myself hand knitting.

Well, Arrrrgh! I'm teaching myself to finger knit a blanket. I've had to start over 3 times now. Every time I make it to row 15, I realize I skipped stitches around row 5 and have to pull it apart and start all over again.

I think I'm going to break down and send my daughter to Michael's for some ginormous knitting needles.
